Dear Bennett:
I wrote to London and asked Stephen Spender to send you all necessary corrections, as quickly as possible, especially the new version of the Moor Soldiers. In the meantime I have your letter dated November 7th.
Do forgive me if I made a mistake in bothering you with new proposals. I did it in a moment where I felt awfully short of money. It was never thougt of as pressure and I regret exceedingly that I wrote about it. I feel so very glad that Random House will publish my book that I would not like anything to happen which would mar our relations. I am glad that everything has been cleared and that you are going ahead on it.
Do not forget to read both plays and to give me your personal opinion.
