Institutionen North American Committee to aid Spanish Democracy

November 25, 1938

Dear Mr. Jacobs:

I am sending you today lists of medicaments which are badly needed in the hospitals of the civil population in Barcelona. The letters which accompany these lists are appalling, and moving, cries for help, and I am convinced that the North American Committee will do all in its power to help.

If you need me to assist you in the realization of this appeal I shall be at your disposal.

Do you not think it would be a good idea if one could call a meeting of a very large number of doctors, who would be asked to make voluntary contributions of supplies? It is urgent, and I would be obliged if you would inform Dr. Reissig, so that you could act quickly.

With kind regards,

Yours sincerely,
