Dear Mr. Weinberger:–
Please do forgive me that I did not get to see you the last day before I left New York. There was such a turmoil and just as I wanted to leave the hotel to call on you I got a call from McClintic. He had just finished reading Johnston’s and my play “Blind Man’s Buff” and wanted to discuss with me the possibility of producing it. So I had to go and as you have perhaps read the discussion was successful; he will produce the play soon.
Have you heard anything from Schwartz? And the Frayheyt Publishing Co? I could easily find out here if Schwartz has mentioned my name when he went into bankruptcy.
