Dear Barrett H. Clark,

Thank you so much for all the trouble you are taking for me! (But not only for the trouble – first of all: for your friendship.)

I shall be back from Boston on Monday and will ring you up at once.

Cordially

Yours ever

Ernst Toller.

Oct. 17th 36

I heard, that “The Machinewreckers” f. e. Boston Rep. Theatre and “Wotan” were also produced several times! – And, writing this, an American friend tells me that the Cleveland Playhouse (besides of other theatres) did “Hinkemann” under the title “Bloody Laughter”.
