Dear Mr. Darnton,
thank you so much for your letter. It is quite right, that writers and musicians who are creating out of a similar spirit ought to meet and are in contact with another.
In the meantime you will have got my letter in which I wrote how very sorry I have been, that we did not meet. If you come back, we certainly then must make up for it.
My best wishes for your travelling tour. I have been myself in Tanger, three years ago. Don’t forget to go further on in the middle of the country. And if you can manage do make a trip to Tetuan. It is worthwhile.
