Dear Sir,

with the same post I send you the first proofs of my „Seven Plays“ edited in England.

Please let me know as soon as possible if you are interested to purchase the „Seven Plays“ for America? In this case I would be pleased to hear your suggestions. I would be glad to get your answer as soon as possible, perhaps you could cable your decision.

I did not yet receive the settlements of account which you should send me, according to our agreement, four times the year. Please let me have them now. „I was a German“ came out here already in the fifth edition.

The publication of the picture „Authors in Exile“ on the cover has made me much trouble, as some of the portrayed persons who live still in Germany were persecuted therefore.

Please, don’t in any case publish such pictures without my special consent.
