83, Finchley Road,

London N. W. 8.

August 1st, 1934.

Dear Miss Meloney,

I have just telephoned to Mr. Scarborough telling him that I agree with the article of Mr. Thompson.

I would like very much indeed to be at your place in September and broadcast for the National Conference on Changing Standards. But I do not see any chance for this at the present moment. I do not yet know when I shall come to America. I have heard nothing from my agent as yet.

Do you think it possible for me, by the by, to broadcast from London?

With the same post I send you the “Schwalbenbuch”.

Kindest regards and

good wishes to you

yours ever

Schwalbenbuch!
