Dear Miss Trolley,
Thank you for your letter of the 30th July.
As for the Welwyn Folk Players I leave it entirely to you to decide, which is the most satisfactory arrangement from my point of view.
The 10 Guineas cover both performances at the Friendshouse.
All I wanted to know was whether amateur-performances of the “Blind Goddess” before or during its first performance in Welwyn Garden would in any way prejudice a London manager from putting on the play at the first possible moment. I don’t feel at all inclined to suggest to the Welwyn Folk Players, that they should postpone their performance of this play.
Yours sincerely
Ernst Toller.
