Dear Mr. Pinker,
yesterday I sent you a cheque for £ 25.0.0 and confirmed our agreement. You renounce all rights deriving out of the agency for “I was a German”. The £ 25.0.0 are to be considered as compensation for your renouncement and for the trouble you have had up to now.
To-day I asked you by phone to let John Lane know by letter that he is to send in future all settlements of account and money to my address. Besides I asked you to send me the agreement with Lane and to repay the deduction of £ 31.5.0 for my account to Barklays Bank Ltd., 27, Regent Street, S. W. 1.
Thank you so much.
With kindest regards
yours sincerely
Ernst Toller.
