Mr. H. G. Wells

Dear Mr. Wells,
I beg to thank you once more for your great kindness to allow me that I name you as my guaranter to the Home-office. This, indeed, means an enormous honour for me.
I want to tell you that the speech you delivered at luncheon last week is the keenest I ever heard. I only wished it to be broadcasted over all England and the whole of Europe. If you have got a manuscript of this speech I should be happy to translate it for one of the German periodicals in Paris or Amsterdam.
Most respectfully
Yours
Ernst Toller.
